D is for Devil

D is for Devil. The Dragon. The Liar.
Tormented fore'er in brimstone and fire.

Portia: In Revelation 12, we hear of the great dragon.... that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world (v 9). Later, in Revelation 20, the devil is thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, to be tormented day and night forever and ever (v. 10).

Thomas: The image of the dragon and the fire were carved as rubber stamps. I made multiple impressions of the dragon without re-inking the stamp, giving the dragon heads different shades of gray. The various shades of gray may imply the passage of time, as the dragon's power fades.
